I got this idea from The Carolina Country Girl’s blog and
thought it was the most awesome idea EVER!
So here I am….. I’m going to make a list of 30 things to do before I
turn 30. I only have 2 more years, so I
better get to it! Making this list was
hard, but I’m sure completing everything on it will be even harder.
- Reach my goal weight. We won’t talk about what that number is, but just that I need to be at it by my birthday in 2014!
- Get into the nursing program. It starts Fall of 2014, so this one will technically be after I’m 30, but I should know if I’m accepted sometime around my birthday.
- Go to New Orleans to visit one of my best friends who lives there.
Be able to photograph, not just take “pictures.” (I’m working on this one now, but I will go ahead and cross it of since I see a HUGE improvement in my photography. However, that said, I must remind you that it is ever evolving. So I can only continue to learn and grow.)- Learn how to do macro photography.
- Pay off some things so I can have more money. (Working on this one now too)
- Have baby #2, because once I reach 30 I’m done!
- Go on a date with the hubs somewhere fancy that requires me to wear a dress and heels.
- Take Caden to the outer banks.
- Pay for someone’s food behind me at the drive-through.
- Make a payment on someone’s layaway at Christmas.
- Be a Relay for Life team captain.
- Paint my kitchen and my son’s bedroom.
- Take the carpet out of my dining room and living room and put down faux hardwood (cuz I sure can’t afford real hardwood lol).
- Raise my credit score to at least get out of the “weak” category lol.
- Take Caden to the zoo.
- Own all seasons of Dawson’s Creek. Don’t judge me. I love this show!
- Get new living room furniture. Our poor couch and recliner are about done!
- Cover up this awful tattoo on my shoulder. You should never get a tattoo when you turn 18 just to be getting one. You’ll end up with something stupid.
- Take a family photo with the entire family (mom, dad, my sister, two nieces, brother in law, me, Mr H, and Caden).
- Take a family photo with Mr H’s entire family (mom, dad, his brother, nephew, girlfriend, me, Mr H, and Caden).
- Clean out the computer room, aka, the dumping ground.
- Make a themed birthday cake for Caden.
- Get a swimming pool. Not a huge one, just something to get wet in!
- Learn to make more of the things that I need in my daily life. I’m not saying I’m going to start sewing our clothes or anything crazy like that, but like cleaning supplies. I already make fabric softener and it saves me soooo much money. Next I’m going to attempt to make detergent.
- See Miranda Lambert in concert. LOVE HER!
- Take Mr H to see a show at DPAC.
- Camp out in the living room with Caden. The backyard will have to wait til he’s a little older.
- Take Caden to see a live show like Sesame Street or Fresh Beat Band. He loves that stuff!
Read more. I never get to read anymore unless it’s on my computer screen. I’m thinking that this means I need a Kindle :)
